Your favorite bushcraft / survival knife under $100?

My favorite knife-->

I would say that dePaul's Swedish Forest knife is certainly a great looking knife, my only concern is that the steel rusts in a hurry. I used my $15.00 Mora to cut an apple and only had time to wipe the blade on my pants. A month later I pulled it out of the sheath and holy Toledo the knife aged 10 years. After some 000 steel wool and metal polish it shined back up, but she'll never be the same without going to the shop. I guess that's why I only paid $15.00. You get what you pay for...I like the T3 SERE by Ed Martin.

I have been enjoying the heck out of the Becker 15. I don't think of trailing points as a woods knife, but this has done everything I needed! Figure the BK 16 drop point is even more capable.

in order of favorites:

sak hiker - a saw plus TWO razor sharp blades makes this a killer package, easily beating out a fixed blade IMO. other than extended cutting where a larger handle is more comfy.

ESEE3 MIL - thin and lightweight, good sheath options and steel. does what it needs to.

Mora 711 - I actually like the blade and handle more than the ESEE, but the sheath is inferior IMO. and since I spend more time carrying a knife than using it, that is important to me. if we were talking price to quality ratio it beats the ESEE getting about one fifth of the price lol.

ESEE 3 on bottom, 711 on top. clipper in the middle.

I love my BK7.
Good blade overall, does not break the bank, and I won't cry if I lose it. Well, maybe a bit. Then I'll buy another. :D

*Can't wait for a BK10...

I have never read anything so stupid. Darwin award right there!

EDIT: If that was a joke then..my bad. ;)

I could have said something like "use the search function" or "just get a Mora", but I figured those responses would be taken soon enough so I opted for death. :)

As a general rule, in the general forum, the top two answers to any questions not related to folders are "use the search function" and "Mora". Oh, questions related to battoning are a close third.

Esee 3 & 4. Becker BK-16. Condor Bushlore. Mora Bushcraft Black & Mora Clipper Companion Heavy Duty MG. Kellam Puukko. These are the ones I have that are $100 and under. All great knives.
