Your Favorite EDC Knife Of All Time....

In my personal opinion, the ALOX Swiss Army Knives are the best EDC blades ever made. So much function and quality packed into a slick package at a great price with a lifetime warranty. They hold a razor sharp edge well, they slice amazingly well, and they never rust. My personal vote is for the Cadet. I may cycle my primary folder here and there but I ALWAYS have a SAK on me.

Is this a cryptic way of finding a EDC knife for the place that you live in which does not allow assisted opening and blades over 3 inches?

My 3 favorite edc's are a spyderco military, benchmade 710 and the Chris reeve large sebenza 21. I'm not a fan of small knives. The only 2 that I have are a mini Ritter griptilian and a mini persideo ultra from benchmade and they are both nice little knives but neither are my favorite. I guess you can also throw in the victorinox tinker which is my second edc knife but I think you where asking about folders. I use that tinker every single day when pulling out a 4 inch folder is not appropriate. Such as in a store, school or any public building.

No sir, not trying to be cryptic and no reason to be. I have my a few favorites that meet the criteria I was asking about and I already weighed in as to my opinion (Ritter Mini-Grip but I have a Bradley Alias II coming in that I hope unseats it). Since my personal preference is unassisted and under 3" I was curious as to everyone else's opinion. I am still very new to knife collecting and very interested in everyone's opinions.

I don't think he hurt anything by asking.
Some people like huge knives, others like small knives, and some like ones in the middle.
I like all of the above.

My favorite in the larger range - Large Sebenza 21.
My favorite in the middle range - DPX H.E.S.T. 2.0
My favorite in the small range - Spyderco Techno

Was my 585 Mini-Barrage, but my new BM 755 MPR is skyrocketing to the top. A beast at well under $200 at Amazon and I believe 2.9" blade. If this is serious interest, there are some good Youtube reviews on the 755 MPR.

But many of the other recommendations are really good, too. Comes down to actual intended use and personal preference.
