Your Favorite Folder Blade Length?

Just wanted to make an addition. Since I got my BM42 back from it's little trip back to Oregon, I will probably be carrying a 4.2" blade on a regular basis, as well.

I like blade length in the 3.5 to 4 inch category. My most carried knife is a Spyderco Endura which is a little under 4".

I do own 2 smaller knives, a CRKT Urban Shark and a Spyderco Delica which both feel good, but the slightly longer blade lengths feel perfect.

2.5 inches does it for me, even go up to 3 inches if I'm working in the yard. Beyond that, it's fixed blade territory (or other suitable tool for working).

a 3"-4" blade is my choice. i find this length to hanlde all of the tasks i need a knife to do
 
I never carry anything over 4'. I really prefer to have something around 3' though. 3' are a little less intimidating to non-knife people than a giant serrated one...
 
For the longest time I fell into the 3.5 range, then about a year ago I got a BM975 for the heck of it and fell in love! Now 4 inchs has been the minimum. Couple of months ago got a SIFU and that feels even better, do have to admit you have to be wearing the right kind of clothes on to carry it, everyday at work is out of the question. I always kinda thought bigger would not suit me (don't have the biggest hands) but the biiger blades feel more balanced to me.
 
I prefer 3.5" to 4". The MT SOCOM is awesome. In the past, I've carried Gerber EZ-Out, some S&W crap (I will never any more S&W after they signed that agreement with the Clinton fascist regime), several BM-910 variants (combo edge, plain/uncoated, plain/coated), BM-730 and BM-730BT, MT UDT, EDI Genesis II, Emerson CQC-7B, etc. I've carried a lot of stuff, and I prefer at least 3.5". I'm going to try a REKAT Sifu after I save up enough for my Remington 870 Express (not a daily carry

I'm hoping my favorite folder blade length will be 5.45 inches of D-2/w rolling lock in less than a month or so (hint, hint).

Honestly, although most of my folders are at least 3.5 inches, I like to carry a CRKT Sampson KISS with 3 inch blade. It's more unobtrusive.

Unfortunately, I always fall into the "bigger is better" mentality. Just the other day, I went internet shopping for a Spyderco Wegner Jr. but ended buying a Military. My problem is still unsolved as I still need a 3 inch blade. I'll probably look at the smaller CRKT C/KFF now that my new Military has chewed up my knife budget.
