Your favorite knife designer!

I don't think Andy Roy (Fiddleback Forge) has been mentioned. He came right out of the gate with smart, workhorse blades and his own take on handle construction... and of course his famous "bullseye" lanyard tubes. You can recognize his work a mile away.

Oh yeah--I forgot about Andy! :o

He's one of my favorites, too.

Bob Dozier, for the knives and grinders he makes and designs. His Arkansas Made designs are excellent users, not to mention his sole authorship work. Hi grinders are a wonder to see in action. Last but not least his inarguable contribution to D2.

Randall Knives.

Chris Reeve knives of course.

A.G. Russell

Kellam knives

Gransfors Bruks

Buck knives, traditional style that's been around for most of our lives.

Benchmade. - Osborne, McHenry & Williams

Charlie May

Dan Koster

Rob Simonich (R.I.P.)

Jim Burke - Jim is a friend and although not a user as I am not in law enforcement, appreciate his designs and great attention to detail.

The Vikings - in terms of a knife being used as an everyday tool, the Puukko (Finnish name) or Scandinavian (grind), is such a simple design, it has stood the test of time for over 1,000 years. As my skills have increased over the years, appreciate the design more and more. All sorts of ways to look at the original question... I look at the question this way, if you have to make a livelihood with your knife, what design would you prefer?

Just read the whole thread and was amazed no one mentioned these guys. Granted it's a couple years old, but these guys have been around a while.

Todd Rexford
Jon Graham
Todd Fischer
Stan Wilson
Andre Thorburn

I've got William Henery E10 with serial #1298. I've had it for about 10 years. The clip became loose and I'm sending it back for repair, cleaning, sharpening, etc. Cost $25 to get this done. Nicest knife I've ever owned and this one was "only" about $400.00. I've seen online some of the $12K one of a kind and my mouth drools.
