It's been a while since I've seen this thread. AS for me, my absolute favorite knife is a custom by Andre De Villiers called the Exectac Spearpoint. It is a small liner lock with titanium bolsters and carbon fiber scales plus a blue anodized titanium clip. The blade is about 2 5/8" and the OAL is just over 6.5". This is a great legal size for most enviroments that allow knives. More importantly, the blade is wide and the cutting edge takes up virtually the entire blade so the knife cuts much larger that its size. I have had this knife for several months, so I my raves are not the case of a knifenut happy about his new toy. I own many other great knives but if I only could carry one for edc, it would be my De Villiers.

Like my favorite beer....the one that I've got in my hand!:) Seriously, I like all my knives and I get a lot of pleasure from each one. But there are some that I like better than others....my small sebbie, umfaan, Tom Anderson Wolfpup, my own Tactical Utility Folder:

My Favorite has to be my Sebenza I know eveyone has heard this a thousand times before but i just can,t find another like it a great user a close second would be my Elishewitz Phantom but you really can,t use a custom for eveyday use ??? well not at 450.00 a POP !!!

Ed Fowler Pronghorn....or maybe my Ed Fowler Camp knife....no, It's the Pronghorn.....I mean the camper....No! Just the Fowler knife. Yeah that one. :D

This is an easy question to answer. My favorite knife is my stag handled, BG-42 Buck 110. It's just got everything I could ask for in a knife. Great looks. Great performance. Made by a great company. It's done some great cutting. Next in line would be either my large Sebenza, which is probably my best knife (not to be confused with favorite knife), or my stag handled Dozier K-4.

That Buck 110 is a real beaut. My favorite knife right now is my Pirela/Elishewitz Trans Metal folder. In the near future I will be getting an Ed Fowler Pronghorn and I think my favorite is about to change. That is the great thing about knives, my favorite gets to change quite often.

How are you guys coming up with these Fowlers? I want one, but don't know if I'll live long enough to get down the list...

My favorite? Hmm. I'll have to think for a while, I have several that are vying for that title.

I would have to say it's been the large Sebenza , but now my recently-acquired Darrel Ralph EDC has seen major carry time. Can't seem to part with it. I've been carrying both.

Right now my fav is a zig -zag Umfaan that I carry daily in a G2 sheath. As far as production -- the BM 690 is a beauty. I love that knife. Carry it on weekends or when I need a bigger knife that still looks classy.

Anthony -- I like the sound of that knife. I have been on the lookout for a Ti bolster/CF scale knife with an under 3 inch blade for a while and can't seem to find one that I like or even find one for that matter. They all are too big. Can you send me more info on the Andre DeVillers knife and a Pic maybe. I would like to know where you purchased it and what it went for.

Thanks... JT (jacksalturner@aol.com)

Hehehe, I love it when this post comes around, gives me a reason to take a new picture :D Strider AR, still my fav.
