my only and favorite Military is the KW CF/Ti/S90V
im not really interested in getting any other one, prior to its release i was wanting to get the carbon fiber military with s90v but they always went for a huge premium on the 2ndary market.
 
Wanted the new KW S90V. Wanted it bad. Almost pulled the trigger last week when I started seeing the pics. Decided to sleep on it over the weekend. Woke up today; not getting it. Wow, weight off the shoulders. Now got funds for something different.

That said, my one and only for the foreseeable future, the 204P.

The 204P millie is a BAMF! Difficult to top that knife! You cant ask for much more, unless you want CF and Ti!

I don't see much of the 52100. I have feeling they were bought up and thrown into safes. Sad I'd like to hear hard use stories with pics
 
So far almost every Millie has been mentioned. To make things interesting, I say the DLC s30v base model is my favorite esp given the $ I spent on a LNIB one ($115).
 
If there was only the standard version of the Military it still would be my favorite Spyderco and still would be my favorite folder of all time.
 
Wish they would do more CRUWEAR. I really like Z-WEAR & I hear they are very similar. I missed the CRUWEAR Millie and Para.

Can't say I have a favorite. Really like the 204P steel though.

Have the most history & use with a S30V standard Military.
 
The 204P Military has a lot of fans here (myself included).

And rightfully so. It's a remarkable steel and a remarkable knife.

I'm surprised it's still available new from KW.

I have to say I'm partial to both the m4 and new s90 cf/ti frame lockers. The blue fluty stands at top for me as well. Such a great knife. Thanks for this thread too. Nice to hear what others think...

Not much love for the BHQ M4 millie.

The mandatory tip down put me off for years but I decided to try one and I'm getting used to the 4" blade. It actually works pretty good in the back pocket of my khaki's for work.

That blue fluted blade above is mesmorizing, haha

The M4 hasn't seen any use yet, the S90V is just starting to, the Cruwear is a great blade but the all Ti handles are perhaps a little soggy, the 204P has a lot going for it but my most carried is my 52100. Very easy to keep screaming sharp, holds a pretty good edge, is very light and the patina just begs the knife to be used. I'll continue rotating the troops seeing as they all have something unique to offer and variety is the spice of life.
 
Of the 8 or 10 Millies I've worked this new 204P is holding its own.
Relatively easy to sharpen and it's sort of strange in the way that it doesn't feel as sharp as some but just walks effortlessly through the materials I cut.
But it's no 3V....
...in a ti frame lock...please.
 
Just stropped the edge back to life on mine in M4 with jade handles. Back to a razor edge. It's the perfect Millie in my book.

Love the new CQI items as well.
