Your favorite neck knives

I like small fixed blades, some of which are usually sold as neck knives, but I carry them in my pocket, not around my neck.

My favourites are the FireAnt by Charles May, Fallkniven WM-1 and Bark River Mikro.

They say its a copy of another knife ,look for the post (My first Titanium knife) mine is bigger than the Dogfish ,wrapped handle ,made from 1/8th Titanium but I still got stomped on for posting a pic.

They say it's a copy, because it IS a copy. About as blatant of a copy as can be. What did you do, trace around a picture of Tom's knife? :jerkit:

The sad thing about it is, Tom is one of the nicest guys in the World and probably would've given you permission to copy his knife. All you had to do is ask.

I really like the looks of CRKT Tom Krein’s Dogfish. I'm not much for CRKT but I like the Wharny blade and bottle opener on the handle. The price isn't bad either at $20. Anybody have one who wants to comment on theirs?

It seems about 2/3 the size it should be, I'm not sure if the CRKT version is really smaller than the original Krein though. The design on the handle is really cool. Even the filework on the spine adds to the dogfish theme.

On the subject of neck knives, I really like my Falkniven WM1, the handle is sized and shaped for great control...

I've enjoyed my Bud Nealy Aikuchi for about a year now. Looking forward in ordering another one, maybe the Cave Bear model. Sweet!

So what makes some of you guys not like neck knives? Thanks for all the suggestions, guys, I've been looking 'em up. I kind of like the looks of the Arclite, but it's pretty big for a necker so I'll have to think about that aspect as well.

Any more suggestions would be great.

neck knives just dont fit my style of dressing. for one thing i wear a gold necklace and it would look funny to have a figaro necklace and a beaded chain lol, also i usually wear polo shirts and ya cant access a necker very easily wearing one of those, i prefer to carry IWB if i wanna carry a fixed, must admit i rarely pack a FB these days, sometimes in the cooler months, when i do its a nealy amoeba IWB, usually its just a folder though. a good frame lock folder, a EKI CQC12, sometimes a spyderco ti ATR.
