i've had lots of good trips - this was a stop on a cross-country to Texas a few years ago that was especially entertaining to me.

here's me and the coyote being told we have to stay behind in paradise while the rest of the gang goes and visits the local tourist trap down the road. (Sedona) - we aren't too tiny - that's just a giant enamel cup.

"oh dang, i'll try to be strong for you guys and stay here where it is deserted for miles and miles, drink cowboy coffee and watch the dog, beloved family. unselfish of me, i know."

as soon as they were out of sight me an' Quote went cliff climbing.... it went on like this for a maybe 500 or so vertical feet.

Quote didn't care. i strapped her to my back on some of the verticals. gotta love white coyote dogs....

sun bather.

we got back in time for a snooze.

a little rain. "i didn't come all this way to stay INSIDE."

dogs and dirt, with maybe a little coffee, buddies, and beer mixed in.

nothin' better IMHO.
