I like EVERYTHING musical - except gangsta rap. :barf: (but maybe that's because I don't consider it music anyway, and I consider the "artists" to be merely "criminals with recording contracts")

Otherwise, turn up the volume: from classical to jazz, from country to heavy metal! Love it all!

But....my favorite? Being a city boy, and all?

Western Swing ain't dead - it's just ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL!

Jailbreak. Isn't that the only one?

Just kidding. I'm aware I might misjudge a band as being a one-hit wonder, since I can be exposed to only so much music. That is why I put the venerable "?" into the heading of that category.

I covered my a$$, man. :D

My three favourites :

Red Hot Chilly Peppers
Led Zep
And of course : U2 :D

Grateful Dead
The Band
CSN(Y)
Little Feat
Traffic
Jefferson Airplane/Starship
Big Brother & the Holding Company
Counting Crows
Quicksilver Messenger Service
Byrds

You covered it old school, yo. ;)

BTW, you should check out Black Rose, Gary Moore took over Brian Robertson's spot and basically committed axe murder all over the album. Check out the title tune where he plays all the (quite intricate) guitar parts.

Torz,

Thanks for the heads-up. I have an old Gary Moore cassette that I remember being pretty decent. I might have to break it out again.

Linkin Park
HIM
U2
Coldplay

Shiden

Old stuff:

Frank Zappa
Jethro Tull
Beatles
Led Zeppelin

Joe Walsh (but I hate the f*cking Eagles)
Captain Beefheart
SRV
Queen
Claptin (and his bands)
Aerosmith (older stuff)

Newer stuff:
Steve Vai
They Might Be Giants

It's a good thing you didn't ask for favorite Ska bands, because there's a 15000 character limit per post.

Tool
A Perfect Circle
Anberlin
The Living End
Seether
Dashboard Confessionals
Chevelle

At least I've been listening to a lot of those bands for a while now, and Tool for quite some time (AWESOME).

RWK,

Oh my gawd, I have that cassette! Zodiac Mindwarp and the Love Connection. :) So they did sell more than one tape? :D

I used to love that album. They were a pretty wild band for back then. Loved those over-the-top lyrics.
