Your favorite SLiPJOINT BLADE SHAPE & how you use it. Photos please!

pardon my ignorance, but what is the difference in a sheep's foot and a wharncliffe? What makes one more usefull? Photos?

Wharncliffes have a point that can be used. Sheepsfoot blades take the point out of the equation which can be good for instances like cutting fabric on trauma victims- there's a less of a chance that you'll stab the person.

The spey blade was originally designed for castrating animals. The lack of a defined tip with great sweep allow for a ranch hand to remove an animal's testicles without fear of stabbing the animal.

Nowadays, since that's not as common a job, the spey blade makes for a nice backup blade in case the other ones go dull. It also makes for a nice peanut butter spreader, especially if it's trapper length.
