I've owned a bunch of wardens thought it was IT . Never fit my hands Grip wise , bought an AD,LM .From The bcs then another set .the AD is my EDC and I sent one sent to Ban for his magic . so far to me its the best smaller blade . Just got my SD for christmas love it also to me a better feel than the skel warden . Thats my story and I'm stickin' to it .

My "GREAT ASH" Bad Warden.

Not only is it a great little knife, I enjoyed paying for it.

Active Duty and the GW beat out the Meaner Street??? I demand a re-count!!!:p

Mine is the Lean Mean Street (LMS).

:D :D

And a Proto at that!

Good to see it getting some use! There were only 2 truly accounted for and I'm sure that's one of them.

I carry a SHBA which may be a bit on the big side, but also carry the 1st edition AD from the custom shop and a really ugly green SK, both in Leatherman horizontal crossdraws.

There should be a glossary or encyclopedia for all of the different models and terms associated with Busse knives. I've been looking for a small fb for holdout type edc, and Busse and Rat are on the short list, but I don't have any way of handling them to see which of either co's offerings would fit me best. What I DID like was the Game Warden...but what are all those other monikers people attatch to the names? What am I missing here?

Well, I have only three Busses. A Meaner, AD, and GW. All are just basic, entry level pieces, coated with tactical spoooge. Of the three, I like the AD the best because it seems to be the ideal size and it just feels right in my hand.

BusseCollector has created a very informative online catalog which should help you.

Cultellus will probably be the one. . . then the DABA and the Warden I have not had a full flat AD or MS so I can't judge those.

Thanks, DirtDigger. Hopefully I can figure out what all these terms mean. And now, here's a hijack: how many of you people use your knives, even the "numbered" or more custom models? I'd like to own a nive custom blade, such as a Busse, but I think I'd be uncomfortable puttin' it to work.

I use my BATAC LE all the time.
And to steer the thread back on course, my favorite edc sized busse is my Muddy Meaner.

Oh, but you must! These Busse knives are close to invulnerable. It's a shame to own them but not use them.

Now I'll admit I have some Busse Customs I just can't make myself use (just too 'pretty'). I've also got a handful of 'original' Busse knives I can't use either -- it would be too much like defiling an artifact.

BUT -- 95% of all my knives, including my Busse knives, get beaten up constantly. They love it, I love it -- heck, JERRY loves it! So why not? :D

ADDED: if nobody has suggested it, go to this site for more useful info on Busse knives -- www.bussecollector.com

Only the MrS could be considered regular production. The others are either limited issue (the SP NARK) or Custom Shop models.
