Your favorite Spyderco SD folder?

I'm with the Electric Zombie - the Military is my SD favorite (for the moment of course)

Big Spydie hole makes for fast deployment.
No liners means light weight for EDC.
Secure G10 grip.
Good size blade.

Before the Li'l Temperance cam out, all I carried for SD was a Military, and possibly a Moran too ;) for all the reasons mentioned.

But the Li'l Temperance is excellent for me, better Ergo's, smaller blade length, and MBC lock! I carry it all the time.

For years I carried a Endura and it served me well one bad day,after being "lost":rolleyes: by police evidence it was replace with another Endura..Today I carry a new baby..

I wonder how well the civilian/matriach stab....
I've seen the military. It's a lovely knife ;)

Wow! They design a nasty, killer-looking knife and call it a civilian. Maybe "hannibal" would be more appropriate. ;)
 
Looking at my post the wording was bad,I never did name the knife pictured so some may have thought it was a Endura..The guys are correct it is a Carbon fiber Civilian..:)
 
Yes Sir,they were both PE and serrated in the first Aluminum handled models..The G10 handled models were serrated only if im correct and this run of CarbonFiber is both PE and serrated..
 
ok so they dont make it, but if they did i would place my order today.

I dont own the military, but after handleing it i think it wouldnt make my list, here is why:

Single nested liner lock (great for utility not for SD)

lack of finger gaurd for index finger

Utility style blade (not bad for SD, just could be better)

The spydies that i like for SD are the Gunting and Chinook, along with the native, havent gotten my hands on a lil temperance yet. I also like how the JD Smith feels but the micarta is too slick.

But for SD i dont like like

Delica
Endura
Police
 
for SD my fav spydie is a SS serrated police model - ya cant beat them. if it has to have a <3" blade, the gunting......millie is also ok, and the civilian/harpy/matriarch are ok too, but hate to limit myself to slashing only....
