Your favorite Survival Blade?

hehehehehehe if you have a 22 pistol you can remove the projectile of a bullet, put some coton (from your clothes for exemple) in the cartridge and fire it :D you will then have a nice burning piece of coton;)

Knives, a Steel Heart paired up with either a Wave or a Vic Outrider.

SH gives me blade mass for chopping, while smaller ones give me finer cutting (blade, saw) as well as scissors for first aid reasons (ex. debridement if necessary).

For the 2 others, torn. One would be a vessel of some sort, not sure of stainless or titanium. Other is either 550 cord, .22 pistol w/ammo, or Winnebago (just kidding).

Hey Ming65. sorry it took so long to answer your questions but here goes...

The steel on my custom Beck is differentially heat treated O-1 at 1/4" thick.

The sawteeth are the same as the teeth on his WSK except my knife has more of them. They are machined on exactly like a Swiss Army Knife saw. I own several knives with sawbacks and none cut better, it cuts a 1/4" wide channel as deep as you want to go.

As far as push cutting with my thumb, the area in front of the sawteeth right up to the point is rounded over to facilitate push cutting and pivoting of the thumb. That was a feature I really wanted since you can't push on the sawteeth.

This should get me by for awhile.;)

Yo Olivier,

A Tracker ;)
A Sebenza :D

an Helicopter (one item)
a bag full of diamonds... another item

It's a Winchester. Browning has never made a replica of the '94.

Neat knife next to it, whatever it is.

t1mpani sorry to disapoint you...but Browning have made some 1894 replicas, I know, I own one! Got it from my Dad.It's made exactly like the Winchester but with the "gold" trigger.
But you're right, when looking closer this seem to be a Winchester.

Yes, Browning does make a rifle that looks just like that one, but I think it's only available in rimfire. The centerfire version looks different. One neat feature about the Browning, is the whole trigger mechanism goes with the lever when you work the lever. No pinched fingers.

actualy the Browning anniversary model I have just look like a winchester 1894 and mine is in 30¤30 :D
but back to the knives ;)

Is that a 30-30 round? Looks longer to me for some reason. But, I'm the bow guy, so what do I know about such things.:D

That would be a BLR which is not like either the 1892, 1894, or 1886 Winchesters for such high pressure cartridges as the 30-06.
