Your favorite Traditional Folder slip joints lock backs old school.

I have been carrying this every day since I got it. Northwoods Fremont Jack in Mammoth Ivory

I use it for cutting food, or doing something outside in the garden. I also carry a modern kershaw or ZT that I use for tougher work.

Nice example! I too am quite fond of the Fremont Jack (mine in blue camel bone, along with my Norfolk Whittler in Ivory):

Another Northwoods fav of mine is the Hawthorne Jack - this one is in mammoth ivory - kinda sexy:

well...if we are going to posts Northwoods...how about some Ol Dave Shirley era Northwoods?

This little guy is killer I've edc'ed this one and the one I lost for two years. But I've been in a wharnie mood lately.

So I hàve on the way a JK Element Wharnie, case whittler and a case carhartt double dyed synthetic mini trapper with a single Wharncliffe. I'm going to see how the case fair as an edc. I suspect I'm going to love them all!

Don't have any pics at the moment, but a Schrade Old Timer.

Last Christmas present I got from my grandpa when I was 6.

Erik, WHAT! Where's the Case/ Bose?!
Derick, the mamoth on that Hawthorn looks great. I love the "butter scotch-ish" tones.

I carry this knife just about everyday.

But, I have a few new slipjoints coming over the next couple months that may very well give the Presidential it's much needed break.

I also have a fondness for pre-1980 Hen & Roosters

Not the fanciest nor most frequently carried but if I had to pick a favorite it would have to be this.

No love for the buck 110?

I bought a couple fresh 110's late last summer when the 50th Anniversary LE's came out. And I carried one well into the fall and winter. It just started feeling a bit heavy after a while on the belt (heavy for a folder, that is).

For that much weight, I'll typically go with a fixed blade. They are staying in the collection, though, because they are a classic... and they're awfully nice looking, too!

I have too many. Can't say I have a favorite. That would be akin to having a favorite child.
