Which knife can you get for a twenty or less (2022 prices, please) that you really like?

For starters, I really like Svord Peasant Knives

I'll 2nd the Hultafors, most Mora's, SAK, Opinel are ok.. CS Pendleton Lite is a good general use fixed blade for the price.. I actually really like Rough Ryder's especially for the price..

I don't care for Schrade as a company, but I do still like the Sharpfinger, although not as much as the older ones..

No Hultafors while Mora exists!
M.A.M and Opinel are what I love, really want a Peasant.
SAKs, that I scored on the low.
Rough Ryder.
Douk-Douk, Mercator and Higonokami float around there, too.
Have you tried Hultafors? They are a little rough in the way they are finished, but they are phenomenal value. The GK is brilliant.

Mora's are also great.

Thank you for your suggestions. I don't think Douk Douk, Mercator and Higo are anywhere near $20 these days. I could barely find any SAKs below $20.

In the world of traditional knives there are many solid options for under $20, even without resorting to the Chinese slipjoint option. The easiest to find of these are Opinel and MAM. Less easy to find, but still available, are the plastic-handled Pallares Solsona knives, Okapi (beware fakes and ridiculously overpriced auction-site ones), and Fraraccio knives from Italy.

A recent discovery of mine, and something which may appeal to those with more modern tastes, is the Florinox Kiana. I am very pleased with mine - light, sharp, and very solid.

I can post pictures later, but for now I gotta go…

I have numerous Moras and Hultafors and for a little more the Moras are a much better blade, as others have said Tramontina, Opinel and for overall value and fnf for a folder I don't think you can beat a Boker tech 1, beautiful little EDC for the price.
