Your favorite YouTube knife reviewer?

Probably the best stuff out there is made by this really cool forum member here, this cool cat the silly screen name of So-Lo. :D

He does all kinds of stuff, cut demos, reviews, bottle cuts, sharpening, take down reviews, and just plain ol' thoughts on what's happening today :D

I heard he has a link at the bottom of everyone of his posts :D

nutnfancy, though i like and watch so many others also, seems like he has just so many more than most. I like the organized way that he starts a review, though he can go a bit long, just a suggestion, if ur doing a knife review a arbitrary 10 min video length gives time to cover some knives well, but with others seems drawn out and gets tedious. blunt, cutlery, cajun and others do well and any added info on a perspective purchase is welcomed though. the worst are just someone turning the knife over and over in their hands flipping it open and closed. sorry not a review without some added info. i like detailed info and good video quality and dont need to see someone slicing cardboard or paper to know a knife can do this. i dont have his name but kudo`s to the guy who cut up 4 radials with a spyderco stretch in zdp 189, awsome video and was a nice capper to nutnfancy`s excellent review on that same knife. which is now in my pocket as my edc knife.

For me it is, So-Lo; Love his comments about the knives, very similar opinions to mine as far as I can tell, uses the knives in videos

bluntruth, uses the knives, very similar opinions to mine as far as I can tell.

Cutlerylover; first youtube video I watched on Sebenza and got me thinking about a higher priced knife, good tips for a beginner.

Ankerson; beats on knives I would never do or even probably own. Good entertainment for me.

Noss; entertainment when bored

Nutnfancy; gear I will never own or heard of, but seldom watch his things, not the same trend of thought as me when it comes to knives and gear that much. Still good entertainment and he does do great videos like the Shot Show booth reviews.

Fogot about Archman. Good info and he gives an honest opinion on the knives he likes and dislikes.

Hopefully my "reviews" are a bit of a blend of both sentences in the quote. I try to keep all my vids below 10 minutes (I aim for 5). I like (to try) to keep stuff short and to the point. My subscribers all know to ask me in a comment or PM if they have any question.

I say Blunt hands down. Problem with nutnfancy is that he has billions of knives, which keeps me coming back.

Another problem with Nutn...(like the guy, learned alot form him, and like his gun reviews better), for EDC folders, he's all about weight...he likes the ultralights. On his advice, one of my very first folders was a SOG Flash I...IMHO, please do not waste a cent on this nifty spring-assisted letter opener--unless you get a lot of mail or something. He's also big on the Al Mar ultralights. He (seemingly) hasn't met a knife he hasn't liked.

K~

i read this thing, i then watched his videos (bluntruth) and the 2 knives i was most interested in failed pretty badly,so i`m kind of bummed, but probably saved a couple of BUCKS in the process

Nutnfancy is way out front IMO.

I dont mind Nutn either. Some of my major purchases are based on his reviews (USMC Kabar, Endura, Delica, Leathermans). I agree with a lot of what he says. Obviously some people have a problem with him which is their opinion. He annoys me sometimes but he is thorough, his videos are good quality and he has experience in the woods etc. I dont mind him.
