Hey! I did a search and found no matches and here we go : Folks, what is your favourite lube to give your spydies that silky smooth feeling when you draw it out of its folder? Mine is the "White Lightning"

You can use olive oil too. If you use your sypderco to skin/clean animals.

I prefer the Chris Reeve lithium grease. It works wonders for every knife I have used it on.

KY has a liquid now that is much better than the jelly.

On knives I use white lightning.

I have also used a lot of the stuff I buy for my mountain bike on my knives. The Finish Line products made for dusty/sandy terrain works well. As do some of the synthetic greases.

White Lightning is a little "dribbley" to manage well, but is great in the pivot after drying. For coating the blades, I use Break Free.

I guess I'm just a little lazy.

Since I "have Glock pistols", and use "Break Free CLP" (as most of us Certified Glock Armorers do) to lube the areas on Glocks that need lube, I use the same stuff on all my folding knives, and it seems to work well.

One of these days, 'tho, I AM going to have to give that "White Lightning" a try...(Anyone have any "free" samples they'd like to "share"?.
