Who would be your favourite leather sheath makers?

I'm getting a new knife sometime very soon and I'm thinking I'd like a really nice custom sheath for it.

If you've had any good experiences with anyone, mention their name and maybe a web address. Thanks.

I found Mike Bartol through a thread on here about leathermen and sheath makers. He has been making all of my sheaths and I have yet to be disappointed. Knowing that I'm not really "up" on knife quality, etc., he has been a very good teacher to me on the knives I have purchased. I have my knives sent directly to him before I even get them. One knife, based on his recommendation, I did not keep and immediately contacted the seller about it. We worked out a resolution that worked for everyone.

I trust Mike's opinion, and I've seen pictures of many of the sheaths he has done.

I know there are many great and talented sheathmakers here on BFC. I guess you just need to check them all out. Here is Mike's info:

Also, Chuck Burrows makes some incredible period sheaths, museum quality stuff.
