Your first Becker

My first was this BK11 which was a kick butt Father's Day present...

Same story for me. 11 for Valentines Day, BK2 about a month later and just got a 14 in the mail this week. I drank the cool aid...
 
Bk2.... I just received mine 2 days ago. I liked it so much I ordered another one today. One will be a beater, and the other will be kept in pristine condition. :D
 
BK3 Tac Tool. Got it when I signed the kid and myself up for Boy Scouts. Stupid me, I didn't know about their rules concerning fixed blades. Then, about a year later, I was really eyeballing the 7, really looking it over, when something pulled my eye over towards the 2. Not sure what it was, but the 2 was really crying out to me, so, when the missus came up and told me she wanted the new Rock Band game with all the instruments, I told her I wanted the BK2 and promptly forgot about the conversation. Two days later, I had myself a brand spanking new BK2. After that I won a BK14 in a contest from Moose, designed my custom based heavily on some Becker designs (And unintentionally some Kershaw ones) and with it came a BK11. Somewhere in there the missus got her first Becker, a BK14. Then finally at the Gathering Ethan gave me one of those necker protos that look like a giant Remora with a clip point. That one will probably not be used though. Too cool for me to be able to say that I got a prototype knife that was never really put into production.
 
Started small with the 11 and then shortly thereafter a 2... impatiently awaiting a tweener, may have to get a 9 to pass the time until they come out. My son wants an assisted open knife, but he may be getting a 14 instead :)
 
My first was a BK9. Within a week I ordered another BK9, three BK2's a BK11 w/micarta, BK14 and 2 pair of micarta slabs. One BK2 was gifted to a good friend. About a week after that I scored a Brute with old school micarta and a Crewman.
 
The BK11 was my first Becker:cool::thumbup:
 
My first was a Bk7, gift from a buddy in the Army when I was deploying after spending time with his unit making a documentary video.
I convexed it last year, all the way up to the top of the grind and now its one of my best "One" knives.

I wanted a BK7 but needed a BK2, so BK2 is my first Becker. :)

@Md 25V, your BK7 looks great!!
 
Got my Camillus BK7 years ago. It seen a lot of heavy work and it is still in ready-to-go condition. When the Kabar BK7 came out the Camillus retired because of the warranty issue. The two have small differences but both fit my custom made kydex sheath.

sold the Remora so the BK7 is my only Becker since. Its even my only big knife because I'm slimming down my collection drastic. I recently sold 80% of my knifes. the BK7's will definitely be keepers for life!!!
 
Cami crewman many years ago for $42 bucks :)

Given how it has performed, it is still the best bang for the buck I've ever spent on gear. Thank you Mr. Becker
