This SOB was both my first Bussekin, and my first INFI. The Battle saw soon followed, and I haven't been able to stop myself since! The SOB was more than at home on the bayou back home.
Seems a long time ago when I got this Game Warden and MOASH (I thought it was a HOFSH early on, but later discovered it was a snakeskin MOASH). I had no idea at the time how popular snakeskin micarta was when I got the MOASH, so I sent it and the Game Warden in to Garth to have hand shaped black micarta put on to match a FA 454 I had at the time that was going to get the same treatment. I asked if I could keep the scales after the work was done and Garth told me they broke during the removal process, so they couldn't be returned with the knife. Oh well, if snakeskin is that brittle of a micarta, I'm glad I went with the solid black. The reshaped scales turned out AWESOME!!! Like a knucklehead, I eventually sold the 454 and let both of the knives go early on for some other INFI or customs I wanted at the time. No Regrets.
Been a George Romero fan since i was a kid, in turn, ended up watching Walking Dead, then the angry redneck's knife caught my eye.. the rest is history haha
First Busse kin was the Scrapper 5, and remember thinking, I must be nuts spending $125 bucks on a 5" knife. First Busse was the NMSFNO. Now the obsession has me at 20 Busse,+ 8 backordered, 17 Swamprats, 31 Scrapyards, +1 backordered. I'm slowing down though, passed up on a lot of Oper. 2 week knives. Got all the size ranges covered and I'm tapped out for knife funds. At least each grandkid will get a nice collection.
