On the Strength of an article in the 1998 American Survival Guide, with Y2K coming up I placed my First Order to the Busse Combat Knife Company in the first week of 1999.

Middle of October I got about half of that order and the rest I picked up at the 1999 Las Vegas Y2K Prep Show from Jerry who had a Table there.

What I kept for myself out of that order was one each, SHBM, SHSH, SHBA and a Mean Street, I still have the SHSH and the Mean Street of that original order.

This was all Full Retail, paid up front at the time of order, remember that next time you want to complain about having to wait for your knives and then you get excited about your card getting charged.

My first was a NMSFNO. I traded it and a SFNO variant for a SHBM. SHBM is gone now as well....

I've been really aching for an NMSFNO. I'm so torn on whether I want to pick up another TGLB or an NMSFNO from the custom shop as my next Busse.
