I don´t own a custom yet, but I´ll be ordering one soon from a German knifemaker.
It will be patterned after my own design: fixed blade, about 7 inches OAL, drop point blade shape, probably carbon fibre scales. The exact measurements and features aren´t figured out yet, but I will fix the specs until the end of the month.

Dozier K-4 :D

A Jerry Rados Neck knife. Damascus blade and one piece MOP. Traded for it at a knife show 3 years ago.

My first true custom, and still my favorite, an Elishewitz MARS, blue jeweled titanium, Mokume bolsters and orange jig-bone scales.

Customs are addictive. Very little in the production market excites me now. Fortunately, you can find customs that are priced at or near the level of a high end factory knife.

That is one sweet collection you have there. I especially like the stag handled snubbie! Sweet Tomey too.
My first custom was a Bob Dozier Arkansas Toothpick that I picked up at the Badger knife show. At the time I had on order a Dozier straight personal with ironwood handles. I usually carry one of these daily, today it is the toothpick. My next custom was a Matt Lamey Urban Bowie... a nice little 4&1/2" bowie with very nice pistachio wood handle. Got a nice Kenny Rowe boot clip sheath to go with it. Actually getting a second boot-clip sheath mirror imaged from the first one... more carry options! The next one is on a delayed order... gotta spread out the expense, or the wife will kill me! This one will be a Terry Primos short forged tactical. I am letting him pick out the handle material and sheath. This one will be arriving in a year!
God, I hate the wait!

Mongo: I just got the Tomey last week. I haven't even had the opportunity to cut anything with it. Mebbe I'll harvest a few tomatoes with it this week :)

I bought the snubbie because it came with those grips. I've since installed a bobbed hammer, smooth trigger, and a Tyler T-Grip. It's "looser than a $5 whore", but shoots amazingly well. With 158gr SWC loads, I can knock down bowling pins at 25yds about 3 times out of 5.

Buzzbait: Buy one, buy one now! :D Jens has a good thing going with that model (and the similar one with a droppoint blade). Make sure you get one of his leather sheaths as well. It rounds out the package nicely and makes it "hide in plain site" when around sheeple.
