    The top one is one of the copies of the first knife I ever made, the JK Original.

    I use my first, the Kephart in Maple Burl, to baton small pieces of wood to help get fires started in our fireplace. It has held up very well.

    Oh yeah, I was thinking Hikers Backup.
    The Pack Knife and Keebler Muk were my first.
    Both came in the same box so both were my first.:thumbsup:

    are you telling me there is even more options with this knife. it took me forever to make a decision on the handle and im still not sure mosaic pins don't go with red linen micarta.

    I think that Hiker's Backup you mention is my first JK! Somewhere I have a picture of it in use...I kept it in my coat pocket for use when winter gloves and a safety harness made it tough to reach my pocket knife. Good memories.
