Your first knife

I gave my first one away when a neighbor bought a set of used tires from me. It is ugly as sin but it is a user and sharpenes ups well. He asked me if this was the first knife I ever made and I said it was. His eyes got big and he said, Isn't that somethin'?

My first was Victorinox Ranger Well my first real was Glock 81

My first is ugly as sin but sharp. Made out of t-shirt mycarta. I'll definitely hold on to it for its sentimental value. My other firsts were gifts to my dad and brothers. I'll see if I can pull up a picture of it later.

My first knife is now about 55 years old. I made it from the wrong steel, used the wrong methods, and it was really poor......... but I loved it.

As with most everyone else my knives have evolved also. The hunter was my first and was stolen in a car break in. The black knife was my second and went to Afganistan with my son in law on his flight vest. Jess
