Your first quality knife?

Puma "Hunters Pal". That'll be around twenty years ago! Wish I still had it, excellent little knife from when Puma still used carbon steel!
Good heavens....I'm 37 and have been a knife nut (sometimes more than others) for the last thirty years!
No wonder I don't have any money!:D

That's what got me hooked!

Wow! I got hooked on the very same model! It's still my EDC. I bought it in February 2001.

My next purchases were a Spyderco Dragonfly FRN and a Kershaw Chive.

The first high quality knife that I owned was the first that I bought for myself. It was a Puma hunting knife and I bought it around 1962/3. In 1965 I bought a Buck 110 folding hunter, my second high quality knife.

BM Nimravus. I stuck w/benchmade for a while then a Spyderco Police cf. It all went to hell after that.

My first knife was real enough. It was a small Buck lockback of some sort.

But recently I've gotten into the $100 plus blades. That's scary. :)

I really like my small sebbie though . . .

I bought a Buck Special with my lawn mowing money in the late 60's. I lost it sometime later and replaced it with a 110. Even a blind hog finds an acorn every now and then.;)
