Your keys?

Hrm, I don't have any "keys". Just a car fob, wallet, and phone.

I do carry a MT Whaleshark and a Fenix PD20 though. Can't say how many times having a flashlight has come in handy.

I can't believe all the stuff people carry in their pockets. Wow. How do you get all that in there? Let alone out again! If I need to carry extra stuff like a firestarter, second light, leatherman, tools, etc., I put them in a small maxpedition bag in the back seat.

Hi Lou,
where did you get the tablet container?

I only have a single car key on each of the fobs for my cars/truck - I like to limit the size/weight of whatever will be swinging around the dash of my vehicles.

I keep a house keys on a Jack Daniels Tennessee Squire keyfob, and a Leatherman Monarch 200 on that keyring.

Truck key and fob, office key, front and side door house keys, little LED micro light and Atwood Prybaby.

Other than keys and those stupid but frequently used store discount cards here is what I have on my key-chain. I have a tiny glow stick that recharges by outside light to then glow in the dark. It isn't super bright but if you drop your keys in a dark movie theater you will be able to find your keys without much trouble. I also have a bright yellow micro-light which is bright enough for my needs. And lastly I have a GI P-51 can opener. It opens cans, acts as a makeshift screwdriver, pry-bar, wedge, and cutting tool (this isn't the best option but sometimes it is all you have on hand). I can not stand carrying too much with my keys; I just don't like the bulk in my pocket.

Man, I love gadgets and what not, but between house keys, car keys and work keys, there isn't much room left if they have to go in my pocket. There is a pretty sweet aircraft- style keyring with 6 or 7 gadgets on it hanging at my workbench. :(

Just had to pull a sliver from my son's foot, so I took a picture:

what do you call this kind of key ring? the wire thing

It is a Mechanics key ring. Available at county comm. My key ring consists of 5 or 6 keys and a titanium bottle opener/ prybar made by BRT Bladeworks here on the forums

I just have a couple keys, car remote, eGear Pico, Widgy bar, and Carabiner. This set up seems to serve me well.

Yall have cute key rings...

I use all but 3 every day, that doesn't include the cabinet/client keys that I sign out (those aren't mine so they don't count).

front left pocket holds my light (Nebo Redline) and my cash
front right pocket holds my edc blade (today is an an Alan Davis folder) and my SOG S66
back left is empty
back right is my wallet

Why I added all of this I have no idea...

Only thing I have is a small lanyard from a camera and a 3" widgy from countycomm wrapped in paracord. It gets my highest approval.

For a while I was doing the while little knife little light and other little tools on my key chain but now all I have is my car key on a carabiner - not even a house key. I have it clipped on a belt loop while the rest of my edc goes in the pockets/on the belt.

What is the fish hook thing for?

This probably isn't the best thread to ask, but saw someone mentioned carrying one. Why carry/ EDC a firesteel and not a lighter? Seems like a firesteel wouldn't get much, if any, use. Don't think you would be too successful lighting a girls cigarette with a fire steel. A Bic lighter is pretty darn reliable, and a mini takes up little room. Not bad for about 50 cents. Just curious how often they get used and in what situation?
