It's definitely not unique, and not even all that rare (seems like a lot of French makers use it) [EDIT: even in this thread, as Old Engineer Old Engineer posted some Arno Bernards], but it isn't all that common either. I received this Jèrôme Latreille with "ivoire de phacochère" (warthog tusk ivory) handles a few days ago and the ivory is really incredible. I will definitely get another, maybe in the Yssingeaux style. Unfortunately, it has been raining more or less since it came in, so I don't have a better natural light photo at the moment.
