I was completely surprised by my Christmas gift from my in-laws. Normally it's a $25 gift card but this year it was a ZT 450. When I first opened it I wasn't sure it was supposed to mine.
 
I managed to make a trade for this Fallkniven Tor. It's a nice knife and after I stopped it a little with some compound and leather the convex edge is freekin scary sharp. I hope the old owner doesn't mind my using his old pic.

I bought a TC Barlow off the exchange yesterday, but it may not get here in 2016; so this one is probably the last one for the year:
 
I sold a spendy knife. After that I ended up buying this beauty. One of the few fancy knives I will own, but it will get lots of use!!

My last of the 2016 - wife bought me a knife making kit for Christmas... kinda cool. Incidentally, by the I get to putting it together, and filing/sanding down the scales, it'll also be my first of 2017.

 
I just ordered two fixed blades, one is Russian made supposedly from some old family forge in Russia via Jersey so we'll see about that. I figured the price was to good to pass up and the pics look good and if nothing else I can always gift it if it isn't up to snuff and the second is a handmade small bowie of an un-known maker but again the pics make it look very nice. No sheath for the bowie but the fella selling it guarantees it, same with the Russian made so can't loose on'em I figure. This bowie has excellent looking walnut scales, tapered tang, full flat grind etc.etc. keepem sharp
 
Mine is a Kershaw ZT 0450 Sinkevich which I received from my son in the Army. I've obviously imparted my good taste over the years and it is now paying off ;)
 
I have one of the new ZT 0392 bowies on the way. Should arrive on Saturday. Perfect timing to end a year with tons of knife buying and selling.
 
The last one arriving will probably be Kizer Mini Intrepid scheduled for delivery sometime tomorrow!
 
Your last knife or your last cutting tool?

If I can claim cutting tool, then it would be a razor blade insert for my WECK straight razor.
