Your Mora experience...

My Mora 2000 came wicked sharp. Fit and finish exceptional.
A beautiful knife. (yeah I like the puke green handle, its different)
I love its looks and out performs some of my more expensive knives. It has become my outdoor knife of choice. :)
I have not been disappointed with my Mora and plan on buying more models in the future, as well as another Mora 2000 because I like it so much.:D

So, what's the consensus on the laminated blade vs the carbon steel blade?
Equally as good? One better than the other? Worth the price difference?
Does the laminated one de-laminate under hard use?
Inquiring future Mora owners want to know!

No delamination issues. Holds an edge longer than the standard, but otherwise all things equal.

Moras are freaking awesome outdoor blades. I have had a red handled clipper for about a year or so and i am amazed by how sharp i can get it (It's the carbon version) I put a 40 degree microbevel on it (20 degrees per side) and i couldn't be happier with the performance. I left mine out in the woods on accident for about a week so it now has some rust spots but that just gives it character. I do wish it came with a better sheath.
