I'd say it's cut a few things. I really prefer the looks of beater SAKs over pristine ones. Something about them just begs to be used.

Hi Guys -

Yes - the logo long since has been rubbed off, and the red plastic has a darker, burnished finish as compared to a newer model.

That knife has been with me for at least 15 years and in my pocket every day of that time, except only the one time I was going through security at my local airport and discovered that my waiter was still in my pocket!

Instead of letting it get confiscated and seeing later on Ebay, I did an about-face and tool that knife all the way back out to my truck.

That is the only week I can remember not having that knife in my pocket.

I compared it to a brand new Victorninox yesterday, as I had a meeting at work and someone had left a large SAK on the table in the conference room (I don't know the model, but it was a larger version and had a corkscrew).

I turned that knife into security hoping that the owner will be able to recover it.
