The customs are more “mid tech” than their production models. Someone is grinding the blade, hefting the body, etc.. Different than the spirit of this thread.

Did not know CS worked with 20CV, wonder why they gave that the CPM designation as opposed to S35VN (which is written like that). Probably because so many other people make the same steel.

Haven't seen a Holt in here yet, so thought I would post mine up....

Yea know, it just occurred to me... You don't see many Holts around here. In fact there seems to be a difference in what the "hot knives" are on the different platforms. On Reddit and FB I see a lot of Holts, Oz's, Koenigs etc., where I don't see many here. Seems like each platform kind of has it's own idea of what the hottest new knife is and then it spreads on said platform.

One thing I really like about Bladeforums is people don't look down on you for not having the latest and greatest or a super expensive collection. People here seem to be just as happy to see a well done picture of a nice Civivi as they are of many customs. I feel the same way.
