have on order:

Bill Bagwell hells belle, Rob Patton mandritta, and a special order Scott Gossman french scalper

waiting sucks :(

Well, I thought my last two were these, my Bark River Boone in Bocote and my Father's Day gift of a Gerber LMFII. I love the former - and will cherish the latter - as a kind gift from my son, even if I don't know what to do with it!

As I said... I thought... then I recalled just getting these little guys, a pair of smaller Mike Stewart-era Marbles - one a remake of the old Dall DeWeese 1907=era knife, the other, a stag handled min-caper. They were bought for $110 delivered for the pair... almost too cute to use. Concave edges, of course.

That's some nice purchases you guys made..

This is my last purchases.. The Schrade OTF assisted knife and Boker Jim's Rescue knife.. both should serve me alright.

Picked up this oldie, a BM 670BK-503.

Removed the Optimizer bar which makes for a much smoother opening, I like the bead blasted finish on the metal parts!

“Operation Enduring Freedom Khukuri” from the Khukuri House

Why....no reason other than I didn't currently own a khukuri and wanted one...lol. This has a gross weight of 35.3 ozs and a knife weight of 26.5 ozs. Blade length is 10 inches and it has white rosewood scales with a full flat tang....very strong. The scabbard is buffalo wrapped in khaki canvas. Feels very good in hand and seems to have excellent balance as well. Not the sharpest knife I have every bought but was easy to to bring up to snuff.

Now if I can only find a reason to justify owning it.....
