Just ordered a D2 BM Mini Grip from Cabela's.

Got it for my step-son who is graduating from Army boot camp at FT. Benning next Wednesday.

As a matter of fact, I did read your post. I like VG-10 and they were cheap enough to experiment on. The guy I talked to on the phone said that they had lots of other deals, but said he didn't have time to enumerate them. Thanks for the heads up.

I just got a pocket bushman. It'll be great if I can loosen it up a little.

both are simply fantastic knives - the Groove is an RJ Martin design, and the Shallot is (obviously) Ken Onion's work. They will both be seeing EDC use... and making the other Kershaws jealous, i'm quite sure.
 
This past week I picked up a Gerber Gator Combo edge and a Buck Scholar (which is getting engraved) for my ladyfriend and picked up a Kershaw Leek Black/Black plain edge and Buck Pilot for me.
 
Scrap Yard SOD LE, but it hasn't yet arrived and the wife doesn't know about it, which is why I still have fingers with which to type this.
