I've been looking at those and was wondering if you could show a pic of the lock-up They are great knives for a descent price, I had just wondered how thick the lock was and how it engaged, etc....
I'm Old School (mainly)so my latest is a Great Eastern Cutlery No.73 in square bolster single blade carbon, Burnt Orange bone and starting a really nice patina on this.An excellent and versatile pocket knife, check Great eastern's website for pix if interested.
These 2 Alsdorf's are on their way to me. 1. Malachite Peanut. 2. Teardrop Jack, with ironwood.(Pix are from MIke Alsdorf. I will take my own when they arrive.)
I just bought one of Matt Cucchiara's flippers (previously owned). I must say I'm impressed. It's very smooth opening with a perfect detent. There aren't any sharp edges to snag on clothing or furniture and it looks neat. As of yesterday, this has become my EDC knife.
Just got a Junkyard Dog II, composite blade. It is pretty awesome, but the clip is kind of a joke. This is actually the sharpest knife out of the box I've ever bought, I'm afraid to touch it up at all because it will probably just make it more dull.
