I played with my camera today so I decided to post some pictures of the items I recently obtained.

1. BM 913 with thumb studs from 710, my current EDC. I like it a lot, action is fast, blade has no play and perfectly centered.

2. Mora Craft line All around, my fishing knife. Rubber handle works great with wet hands, perfect size for cutting bait. Blade is very easy to sharpen, does not rust in salt water or in fish guts. It can't be beat for $19 total price. I want to drill a hole in the handle to tight something that floats to keep it from sinking if dropped in the water.

3. Bark River Highland. I have already taken it for camping twice. Got to love that A-2 steel, the knife is what I have been looking for, not big but very strong. Ghost jade G-10handle is not long, but fits my hand well .

4. BM 710. Not exactly new, I had this knife for about 4 years, originally it had a coated M-2 blade that I bet a crap out, so recently I sent it to Benchmade to replace for a new satin D2. They also replaced all the screws in the handle, the pivot screw, the clip and changed the original plastic back spacer for the steel stand offs. I also installed the longer thumb studs from the 913. It's a glorious comeback; the factory edge is still untouched.

And last thing is not a knife, but a cool flashlight. I call it a pocket spotlight, it's amazing how bright this thing is on a high setting, the beam throw is also very impressive.
At $143 delivered, it's money well spent IMHO. Although it's made in China the quality is surprisingly high, on par with the Surefires that I already sold.

Lowest setting.

Highest setting. Notice how camera darkened the background in a day lighten room to adjust for the brightness of the beam.

BM 551 ORG GRIP, Drop pt blade.

Had it for 4hours and had to remove the black from the clip and give it a polish job; now its MINE!

It needed a good sharpening too, it was the dullest NIB knife I've ever handled.

Sharked this 12inch/12ounce Bonecutter Khukuri by Murali Kami over in the Himalayan Imports sub-forum:

It will very nicely start to fill the gap in the small end of my Khukuri collection. :D

I've ordered, but not yet received, the following:

-another Black Tyrade
-2 orange Tyrade's
-Fenix TK40

These will arrive at month's end

-a Blue Tyrade
-2 tan Tyrades

These are preordered and should be here the 1st week of June.

That will give me a total of 7 G10 Tyrades! Course not all will mine as I plan to give my son a black and tan Tyrade.

Well I didn't purchase it but my latest acquisition is a Kershaw OD-1. It was a gift from my girlfriend. I'm a lucky guy.

added a kershaw skyline to my small but growing collection. awesome awesome knife. tight, light as a feather, deadly sharp, large blade for its weight....all around winner.

I recently scored a Terzuola 514 that he made for me. That arrived today!!! I will have a Yuna EQ-2 x2 that will be arriving soon. (One of which I traded into from a friend.) I also traded for a Gerry McGinnins Shrimp. I do not have any pix, I haven't had time to take any. I don't know if I will, before my surgery on Friday.

My first Bark Rivers arrived yesterday and today.

Fox River Magnum
Fingerling
Mikro Canadian II

I hope things go fine in that surgery. Don't order too many knives while recovering!!

I just recently started collecting folders so most of mine are pretty recent. No pics but they are common unmodified productions that are only a google away. ;)

Benchmade D2 Griptilian
Kershaw Leek
Kershaw Boa
Kershaw G-10 Tyrade

I put in an order for a ZT0300 which will be my most expensive folder and probably the last I can get away with buying for at least "a little" while.

Within the month got two Moras; Rosarms Cliff and, today a Kershaw Skyline; go back 5-6 weeks a BM Dejavoo. Think I will cool it for a whilw.
