Hey Jill, do you have a specific knife post for pictures haha, Ive seen most your photos have been knives on a post lol. I know I try to find good lighting for my pics or make my own lighting, seems like with a post you cant go wrong.

I live out in the country, there's posts everywhere. But, I did make a three tiered knife post with a chainsaw, for group pictures. Which, I didn't use for that picture because it's under a walnut tree and it was overcast at the time.
And yes you can go wrong, if the sun isn't right. It needs to be early morning, or overcast for best results. Not as hard as indoors, but still you have to get it right.

just ordered a BM minigrip

It won't disappoint. I don't know why I waited so long to order my first one. Looking to get the Ritter Mini-Grip next. :)

Forgot to mention I just received this NWA Sierra Scout I had ordered a little while ago:

Haha, I don't foresee selling this guy. Ever :D.

Seriously though, despair not; the Bravo-1 is still my top blade so far. I don't know if this Scout will take the top spot until I've been out to use it for a bit (though I have a good idea it might). The handle on the Bravo-1 (and my in the works Gunny) is a little more versatile in grips I think, but when you grab onto this Scout in a good forehand grip, you don't want to let go . Will definitely post a review later in the W&SS or NWA subforum.:)

I just bought a Benchmade Nagara. I want to prove to myself that a $65 Chinese made "gentleman's" knife can out perform a Sebenza! :D

My last knife purchase was a Ka-Bar short tanto.
Plain edge, kraton handle, synthetic sheath.

I like it, but the handle seems a little small, both length and diameter.
I wrapped it with gutted paracord, that seemed to help somehow, goes with the tanto look too. :P

I bought a Barong today from Tom Krein that he is transforming with his sick regrinds on the Barongs where he adds about 3/4" of extra edge length, thins it out, and adds a thumb ramp. Yesterday I bought a Superhawk for my Father in law, and a couple weeks ago I got a Benchmade 760 that just got turned into a non-tanto hollow grind by TomKrein so it can CUT like a champ for being a beast.

Bark River Bravo-1 Green Canvas Micarta.

All I can say is WOW, great fit and finish and superb balance. This thing is a tank, built for a lifetime of use and abuse, just to say 'sir may I please have some more'. Now I just need to get an IWB sheath for it.
