Today I received a Boker Trance Drop:

I was impressed with the smaller brother, the Subcom, and the Trance received very good comments on the forums, so I had to try it. First impressions are indeed positive, it is very light and thin and yet sturdy thanks to the framelock. A very interesting knife at the price !!!

This being said, there are 3 upcoming knifes I am really looking forward to:

- (the one I am most curious about) Cabela's "Alaskan Guide" Buck 110 variant with S30V blade:

- A spyderco Delica with that famous ZDP steel. And I love british racing green as a handle colour:

- EKA Masur, scandinavian style folder with special wood handle (compressed wood yet very light), timelessly elegant:

Did you buy those locally or on-line?

Big knife, but well designed and carries easily. Could probably cut through a car door with it.

I got a Boker Trance, which I think is an incredible bargain for the price... I highly recommend it.

I bought a Mikkel Willumsen "Reno" but won't have it for a day or two. I can't wait, I think it is a thing of beauty and it is by far the most expensive knife that I have ever bought... but my friend saw a pic and called it the ugliest knife that he had ever seen. He probably thinks that Hummers are ugly too.
