your most recent purchase

Just picked up a Spyderco Persistence. First impressions are great, except that I can't switch it from tip-down to tip-up due to a stripped screw. What a pain.

I've got a Persistence inbound, but puttingg that aside my most recent purchase was a Fallkniven U2. Great little knife!
 
I just bought a case mini trapper with g-10 scales and also a case mini trapper with amber bone stag scales and a opinel slim number 5 and 4 paracord survival braclets. I am waiting on them to come in the mail

I've been eyeing those U2s for a while now. They're adorably small but thin and sharp. Looks like it'd make for a nice EDC.
 
It isn't exactly an EDC, but I just bought a Robert Ball caper in BG-42 steel. I'm dying to try it out on some real field duty. I have a post out here asking those who know more than I do (which are many) about BG-42, and I've gotten some great responses in it's behalf. Sooooo, being the knut that I am, I bought a Case Slimlock in BG-42 for my EDC replacing my Mcusta (for the time being, I'm an EDC rotator too). I've always been a VG-10 user, but I'm excited (as most knuts are) about making the comparison.

I bought this one last week at a fleamarket and I sent it back to get fixed or replaces.

I'm buying a new knife probably tomorrow at the flea market. I am getting a barlow knife soon.
 
Watanabe Kintaro Ame(Damascus) Kensaki yanagiba - just got it yesterday. 330mm blade, ~5mm spine.

Fit and finish are just superb. Sharpening job is also excellent. I love it. Keyaki handle was a present from Watanabe. He liked the blade himself, and decided ho wood was not good enough for it :)

I just made the folks at an online knife sight 126$ richer. They haven't gotten here yet though :grumpy:

I bought: Benchmade Eisen Monochrome, Boker Darkside plain edge, Buck Sandman, Ka-bar WarthogII, and a Kershaw Storm II. Just for good measure I threw in a Cold Steel rubber knife to get the amount over the free shipping price
 
I don't have it yet... but I finally broke down and ordered a PE, S30V Para-Military today (black G-10, satin blade). I can't wait for it to get here. Hopefully I'll have it in hand Monday or Tuesday.
