Your Most Unique Traditional?

Dang Dan, I always wanted one of those yellow and red space ship/Buck Rogers knife, that Raft knife is super cool, I want one, the foldin' plastic knife is cool I've seen 'em before for novelty sake I'd like one of those too.

I had a similar Buck with the statue of liberty coin made from reclaimed copper in the scale covered over with some kinda plastic, complete with Lee Iacoca certificate of authenticity, bought it for an investment, sold it 10 years later and tripled my investment, wish I still had it. I gotta see if I can find a pic somewhere to post.

Now I gotta look at my collection and see what other oddballs I have, I'm surprised no ones posted a Swedish Barrel Knife yet, (always wanted one of those too).

Thread is looking good fellas. Keep posting. If I can I'll get some pictures in of my other neat knives.

Here are my most unique traditionals (couldn't think of one)

Schrade with long serrated blade that I got off of VCM
Kutmaster Utica rooster nutter (caponizing roosters is unique to me when I learned that you go through the back!)
One of the most unique knives I own is a traditional Canadian design, but made by Mora, with a laminated blade nonetheless!

Not the most intriguing, but farthest away from normal

This round lobster knife is a proper slip joint with an internal Y-shaped spring. Blades snap open and closed. It was made in the 1930s.

Still no Swedish Barrel knives?

One knife I've always wanted, it's on my wish list so I don't have a pic to post of my own but I'll find one somewhere.

If you like the all metal wrench knives, I'd look for one from Lunawerk Feist or from Hoffritz. Here are a few more wrench knives and tool knives.

Not very rare, or unique - but unique to my collection. On one side.....
Just your average German spearpoint and saw combo....

On the other side.......A spring-loaded instrument of death! Hide your trees!

A very enjoyable thread with lots of interesting knives. Supratentorial, I especially like your Jos Rodgers & Sons wire cutter knife :D

This ruler knife dates to the 1930s. The patent was granted 1934. I suppose since I already posted here, this must be my second most unique knife.

Looks more like a crab than a lobster.... :D

My most unique traditional is my single blade canoe.

Thank you, smiling-knife. I enjoy the old Sheffield knives that you posted -- you have an amazing collection. That's a beautifully preserved ruler/knife. This one shows it's age but I think it's unique. I don't know much about it but suspect that it was made in Sheffield.
