Your office or co-workers EDC

That's some serious hardware for the office. I don't think any of my coworkers carry a knife. They're always asking me for mine.

Man - if you even say the work "knife" in our wonderful State you'll probably do jail time.

I have to be very careful with pulling my knife out - which is why I carry a back-up Vic Climber for sheeple / office work.

I'm jealous.

I think the trick is in the color. Most people find my Pink Izula "cute". I'm thinking about checking to see how my coworkers react to my XM-18 once I swap the scales with an orange one.
 
Thats great. In my opinion a person without a knife is like a fish out of water. I grew up and still live on a farm. Without a knife I would be totally helpless. Any job openings in your company?
 
I'm usually the only guy in the department (hospital pharmacy). The wimmez search for a dull pair of sissors to cut things. I have a SAK or Leatherman Squirt in the left pocket and a Spyderco clipped to the right pocket. This week it's a Caly.
 
My bro-in-law is a chemical engineer at Dow Chemical. He could turn a couple of valves and blow up half of Michigan, but they won't let him carry a knife.
 
I've never worked with "knife guys", even thought I worked in the culinary industry for 12 years. Lots of those guys had their own culinary knives, but that was about it. No cool pocket knives or anything that I saw.
My current job requires us to have a box cutter/razor knife, but just for various tasks. We work at banks, so we have to be careful as to what we carry. I have a Boker Cop Tool that comes in handy all the time. It's more of a tool than other fixed blade knives, so I can get away with carrying that.
 
mad props to you knife packers! I just converted my friend to start packing steel also! Hoorah.
 
Hi folks -

I work in a huge cubicle-farm. There are many people in the office that carry a knife, I know one fellow carries a composite Leek, another has a Sog flash 1, and I see others with clips but I never ask or mention it.

Recently, the fellow who carries the Flash was "talked to" about looking at a handgun on his computer - someone saw him looking at a SW Revolver and reported it to their supervisor.

In that light, I don't flaunt my knives around at all, but I do have them with me every day.
