I think you knew this stuff was awesome and are just being coy!

Actually, I thought it was butt ugly!
Looking at it from the perspective of dying it, I might change my mind.
Last year at the Boise knife show I had several maple pieces with similar coloring.
I thought they were ugly and left them in a box at the end of my table.
One guy got nosy when I wasn't looking. Next thing he had them all out on the table.
He bought 3 from my wife before I could tell him they were ugly. The rest sold the first day.
Now I have learned to ask instead of making assumptions.
