It`s time to start making your New Years resolutions, so what outdoors type resolution have you made for 2010? Mine is to hike the I & M Canal Corridor Path, which goes about 61 miles. No, I don`t plan on doing it all at once, just a different section maybe once a week. I also want to go fishing a lot more, and go to one of the get togethers that I see listed here.

My New Years Resolution is to buy a couple more JK Knives!!

And try hiking a few new places. Maybe travel a little farther from home. I have my favorite places to hike but I want to expand my horizons a little more and try out a few new places.

To spend time in the bush actually USING all this great and at times expensive equipment I've purchased this last year.

I've got two "to do's" this year in that I want to knock off the Fundy Footpath in a day this year and want to paddle from my place in Saint John NB, to my summer place in Deer Island NB, in a day(24hr period) as well. Might have to settle for one, but am planning on both.
I'd really like to bring my 10yo son's outdoor skills up this year as well and just picked him up a new winter sleeping bag for some winter camping. Nothing far from home, but as soon as we get a few days where we can set up and the nights aren't frigid, we'll get out.

I am going camping more often. I also am going to do several sections of the Florida Trail that I have been looking at, but just never got around to going.
New Tent to try out in January, new gear, knives, guns, optics.............

Being retired is great!;)

Get healthy, get out more, get a knife made by a maker on the forums. I'd like to catch a muskie this year too.

I owe the guys at Bark River a visit. I pledge to make it to Michigan in 2010 for a few days to catch up.

Also, have more published articles and instruct more.

I've been getting my ass kicked the last couple of years. Financially, but most of all heath-wise.

This year I'm going to stop taking it, and start giving some back.

make more than $1800 in 2010. 2009 was a complete and utter dismal year for me. GOOD RIDDANCE!

Get my painting business off the ground. Buy fewer knives. Sell some knives. Get outside more with my sons. Find a new martial arts school. Lose 20 pounds.

I need to help my wife get retired this summer. Sell a bunch of junk and get ready to move back to SD. More camping and fishing. I hardly got fish smell on my hands this last year.

STAY OFF OF THE KNIVES FOR SALE FORUM. Unless I am selling.;)

Get my leg back working, and ride my first Century:thumbup: Bought a decent Mtn. Bike in 2009, maybe in 2010 I'll even take it off the pavement:D

Cut down on the amount of pints I drink...Whiskey ain't doin me no good anyway, might even go onto beer !!!

Hand drill....Use hennesey hammock for a bunch of excursions. Go on at least three, 3-d backpack hikes. Didn't do any fishing, aside from work, last year. Need to do a bit more of that. Get more fit. Spend 25% less than I did in 2009. Can 2 x as much as we did in 2009.
