YOUR process of EDCing

One folder clipped tip up (preferably) in my right front pocket. No sheath and no lanyard. The only sheaths I ever carry are a few small pocket sheaths from Sharpshooter Sheath Systems at Knives Ship Free for some small fixed blades.

Cool question. I usually have a medium to large folder clipped into my right front pants pocket. A traditional style or SAK deep inside my left front pocket. With it being winter and residing in MI. I always have some type of multi tool in whatever coat or jacket I may be wearing...

I have a (bad?) habit of running and jumping on things like posts or raised barriers when I am walking around and I have noticed that heavier knives in the front pocket dont respond well to that kind of movement, so I usually carry a light-weight knife clipped to my back right pocket.

Every once in a while I'll take a heavy or clipless knife though.

Varies between locations.

For school:
SAK Cadet left pocket
BM 940 clipped right pocket

Work:
BM 940 clipped right pocket
SAK Cadet left pocket
Either Umnumzaan clipped left pocket, or Fenix Flashlight

I always carry my fixed knives on my left side, whit the blade facing to the front, for a reverse grip draw.
I do the same whit my tomahawk when I’m wearing it on my ops vest, but I draw it whit my right hand in a cross draw style.

I use a pocket holster, in front right pocket.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00165P8DC

The holster has two pockets and a belt loop. One pocket for a multitool, one pocket for a folder, and the belt loop fits my Fenix L0D, mini Bic lighter, and Sandisk titanium drive steel-wired together. Oh, I also put a short titanium spork in the belt loop.

This setup works best for me because:
1. It fixes all the tools in place (they can't rattle nor shift sideways)
2. It's secure. No pocket clip hanging out means nothing to snag on.
3. It's discreet. Everything fits within any standard trousers front pocket.

I got in the habit of clipping my big, single bladed, folder in my right hand pocket on a foldover, deep-carry clip. It also rides there all by itself. I also carry 2 slipjoint folders, one in my left front pocket, and one in my urban wallet.

I really only need the one in my left front pocket, but it is nice to carry all three, and do so with no problems.

I carry a >3-inch folder clipped to my right front pocket (nowadays either a Benchmade 943 or Kershaw PackRat), a Spyderco Dragonfly 2 clipped to my left front pocket, a Vic MiniChamp on my keychain, and a LM Juice CS4 in my backpack.

since retiring, i almost always wear c.e, schmidt work jeans,,, the watch pocket to these jeans is relatively deep and edc in this pocket is a case med. stockman 3318 yellow and a '08 vic alox soldier. best part is that these knives stay secure in this pocket and are easily accessed even when in a seated position.

When I carry a sidearm, which is almost always, I usually have my Emerson commander wave in the LFP so I can easily draw one handed with my non gun hand if my gun hand is otherwise occupied. Delica 4 in RFP for most small chores and an Izzy on the neck as last ditch or for when I need a fixed blade fer sumthin.

NovaTac 120p, Leatherman Mini-Tool & M4 Ritter Grip set up just like this on my belt just behind my right hip.
Cell phone on the opposite (left) side. If I'm carrying another knife (BM707) it would be clipped inside my left front pocket.

Varies depending on weekday, weeknight or weekend, but I usually always have 3 on me, with the one constant being my Vic Climber in RR pocket next to wallet. I never have less than two.

Lanyards vary depending on the carry position and ease of access. Most of my knives do have lanyards - homemade by me out of 550 cord - nothing fancy.

During week the front two are carried in-pocket and in pouches.

Nights and weekends they are clipped to the pocket.

How do you EDC?
-DO you carry two knives? Three?
-Do you use a sheath for your folders?
-Do you carry a neck knife?
-Any fixed blades?
-Lanyard or no?

Feel free to post pics of your EDC setup ;)

-I usually carry three.
A Vic classic on my keyring,
a traditional in my right front pocket,
a one-hander in my right rear pocket.
The traditional in my right front pocket gets the most use.

-I seldom use a sheath for my folders.

- I never carry a neck knife, even when hiking.

- Fixed blade when camping, yes. Never for EDC.

- Lanyard, no. Never seen the need for one.

Small folder in right front pocket. Usually a SAK Cadet or Spyderco Ladybug. Clipped to same pocket is usually a bigger folder - ZT 0350, BM Ritter Mini Grip, Caly3. Right Rear pocket holds my keys and SAK Midnite MiniChamp clipped to belt. If I'm wearing cargos then the larger folder usually gets clipped in the right cargo pocket along with a backup flashlight - usually a NiteCore EZ CR2 or iTP EOS A3.
My Fenix PD20 Q5 is in its holster between a belt loop and my key clip on my belt above my right rear pocket. I'll be getting my Novatac 120ST and LumaPower Incendio V3+ hopefully this week. Both have pocket clips so I may alternate between them for a while till I decide which I prefer, and keep it clipped in one of my pockets. I want to get away from using a light holster for a while and see how I like it. Trying to minimize the Bat Belt look for a change!

Large clipped to my RHP (usually large seb)
Small traditional also in RHP in a small pocket slip (this is the scagel fruitport)

I always have a large 4" minimum solid folder (usually recon 1 or bm 710), that I never use for edc tasks so it is sharp for emergencies

Then I got a mid sized folder that i use for most everything

Lastly i carry a small beater to abuse
