Your psyche revealed...what blade profile makes your fuzzy warm?

I just posted something in another thread that sped me to half-thinking (best speed I can reach this time of morning):

First, which blade profile, contour, whatever...gives you that "touch-me, rust-me" fondle urge we all know well...the one you can just stare at, and why? It doesn' t have to be in rigid category---what subtleties and variations do you like in a blade as well?

And,

I wonder how may ways you could go as a shrink in analyzing meaning and personality type given a client's blade preference. What type person do you think would prefer different blades? Sort of like a mental "What dogs look like their owners"?

Rampant speculation?

Stout, mean cleaver profiles and sleek, sexy traditional tantos.

Well executed Bowies/clip points usually put a smile on my face as well.

The type of blade shape I've been liking the most for awhile now is dagger or tanto styles. Like CS HoldOUt 2 and BM Strykers or ZT 0700 or Gerber Auto Convert. The Holdout dagger shape is probably my favorite blade shape though. Sooooo slicey and puncturey.

Been digging trailing points on fixed blades lately, BK-15 & South Fork.

Favorite blade style on a folder right now is the Spyderco Military/Para2, but the Caly 3/3.5 is right up there as well.

Wharneclife blades make me happy. I also like spear points, especially the ones where the taper on the spine goes further down than the taper on the bade portion. Zero ground convey blades are nice too!!!!!!

Like Ulf, dagger or tanto. I've always lusted after daggers. When done right the design is so svelte and sexy. And also pretty limited in uses. Lol

Tanto blades just grabbed me way back when the tactical blade market took off. I know in many circles the newer Tanto designs are understandably considered couch commando blades, but I love the look, the silky curves, of a well done Tanto.

Those crocodile dundee looking bowie knives really make me feel giddy

I gravitate towards wharnies and sheepsfoot foot(or lambs foot). I always carry a stockman for this reason. I usually also carry a SAK and a small fixed blade or modern folder....... Don't want to be underprepared.

Wharncliffe, clip points, and leaf-shaped blades are my favorite

Wharncliffes because they're unique and just attractive to me, clip points because they have a certain dramatic flair which I like, and leaf-shaped blades because...well...no reason, I just find them sexy :D

A nice drop point like a Southern Grind Bad Monkey or a Sebenza 25 for a folder. For fixed blades I like subtle drop point such as the Survive Knives 5.1 or 3.5. I also love a nice clip point Bowie style. They just scream " 'MERICA!" to me. A Randall 14 Attack, or the Tops War Bowie make me happy. Sometimes a subtle recurve edge on a clip point bowie looks even better!
