your recommendations for light weight folder are...

The Delica is a tried and true folder. VG-10 steel is about the best that comes out of Japan. I have three Delica's, one with AUS8A and a plastic pocket clip, one with ATS-55 and the metal pocket clip (new for '98), and the latest delica in VG-10 also with the "indented" lever lock. Probably the best zytel folder under $50. Definetly the best steel you can get for that price.

I decided to go with the Delicas. I also looked at the mini-griptilians but like the feel of the delicas better.
At $35.00/ea (internet shopping!) with the VG-10 steel they are a good value.
Once again, your advice is appreciated.

That price is from www.knifesite.com
Their price was originally $37.99 but I found a lower price from another company. I emailed to let them know this and they promptly responded by lowering their price to $34.99. Their shipping is $6.00 per order or, if your order is over $100, shipping is free.
I believe this is the lowest price out there. If anyone finds a lower price, let knifesite know so we can all enjoy the lower prices.
I ordered a couple to give as birthday gifts and one for myself.
They are currently out of stock but are expecting a shippment by the end of this week.
So far they've been pleasant to deal with. I'll let you know more after I receive my order which should be early next week.
Off topic but may be advice to some of you. I ordered a few Marbles compasses from "Chagnon's Outdoor World" last fall for christmass stocking stuffers. I didn't like the quality and returned them per their instructions. They confirmed they received them but I never received my refund.
$54.00 is not a lot of money but I kept trying due to the principle of the matter.
The owner "Chad", on three separate occasions promised to refund my money himself and never did. At this point I've given up on my refund.
I recommend no one buys from "Chagnon's". The owner "Chad" has very low character. His employees appoligized but could not do any thing for me.
