Steve---To reduce weight, would you recommend a G-10 handle slab, no steel liner, on the non-locking side of my CQC-7? I know I would lose the second Detent. What do you think? Thanks, Steve.

I don't think it would be enough weight loss to justify modifying it personally.

That liner is not that big at all and your new G10 would be thicker to replace it so you gain some of what you lose right back. Doesn't equal enough to make it worth while IMO.

Steve---OMT. The rear spacer on my CQC-7 blocks the point of the blade from poking holes in my pocket, unlike the HD. So, we will not be needing that custom rear-spacer for the CQC-7. Thanks, Steve.
