Hello to all! As you can see, I am very new to this forum, although I have spent many hours just reading all of your interesting discussions on various topics.
For those of you that read the William Henry post, you will remeber that I have a very small collection, and I am always seeking out advice for future purchases. I like to assemble dream/wish lists and then as money becomes available pick a wish and buy it. I tease my wife and tell her that I spend at least 10 million a year in my head.
That being said, after the many hours spent studying the EDC postings, I found myself wondering what everyone would pick given one pick for each major category of knife collecting, so here goes. Add categories if you feel that I have missed an important one.
-EDC folder
-Folder with some Class/Gentlemen's folder
-EDC Fixed blade
-Utility Fixed Blade for the outdoors
-Utility Folder for the outdoors
-Self-defense knife
-Brush clearing Knife/Machete
-Tree clearing knife/tomahawk
-Neck knife
-Best overall bang for the buck production
-Best overall bang for the buck custom
-EDC Flashlight (I know it is not a knife, but so many of you have them, and I would like to find one that would work well for me as well.)
