Your Traditional Knife of 2020

Congrats to Dylan and Christian and a big thank you to Jack for the most thought provoking thread each year. I’m already thinking that one of my knives that that wasn’t eligible this year might be the one for 2021, but there is something I have my eye on already that might be a sleeper. Ah, the thrill of the chase!

Thank you Alan, I always enjoy your contributions :)

Thanks for The Thread again Jack . It is by far my Favorite one every year . It makes us re-think what knives we got for the year , what we carried , and maybe why we carried it more than others . Happy New Year to you and everyone .

That's awesome. Thanks for the fun contest Jack Black Jack Black . I definitely want the patch, that's a cool bit of kit.

My first one, but won’t be my last, thanks it was a lot of fun!

Thanks to Jack Black Jack Black for keeping up this yearly tradition.
I know I'm not alone in looking forward to it each year.
Congrats to @Pàdruig and kamagong kamagong for the win.

NEW YEAR - new patch. Thanks Jack for help us play out the old year!
Congrats to our fellows with the patches :)

Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate the kind words :) It's yours Christian :)

Good show, Jack! Thanks for creating the space again this year. My time on the Forum has been limited lately, but I knew I had to make sure to get my KoTY in!
Congrats to Dylan and Christian!

Thanks for taking part Mike :) I hope you can hang out here more this year :)

Congrats to the winners.

Thanks to Jack for the thread.

It's been a fun thread to follow, and interesting to see people's 2020 knives and why they chose them.

My first year back with traditionals, looking forward to the 2021 thread! :)

I agree with Harry, Jack. This is one of my favorite threads every year! Thanks for keeping up this Porch tradition.

Count me in for the give-away, and thank you.

My traditional of 2020 is easy to pick: it's a humble, inexpensive, user-condition Lipic advertising jackknife made by Camillus. It's a nice small/medium size with a pen blade and a screwdriver/caplifter, which I think is an excellent combo for EDC. It has been in my pocket since I cleaned it up and sharpened it.

For years, I've carried a modern one-hand folder clipped in my back pocket as my EDC knife. This Lipic has me now carrying a small traditional in my front pocket as a second knife.

I'm afraid you missed it Bob

Still no word from @Pàdruig I'm afraid. I need to get this thread wrapped up, and want my cap back, so I'll keep it open for another 24 hours, and hope I'll hear from Dylan in that time. If anyone sees him lurking please give him a heads-up. After that though, I'll draw another name out of the hat
