Out of the guns you have or plan to buy, what would your well rounded personal arsenal consist of if limited to 3 pistols, 2 shotguns, 1-2 assault rifles, 2 long range/hunting type rifle.

I can't juggle that many guns at once.

Battle rifle with backup mauser.

1911 with backup J-frame.

Sold my shotgun. All my other guns are mousers.

Hmmm, well rounded

3 pistols, 2 shotguns, 1-2 assault rifles, 2 long range/hunting type rifle.

For pistols, I think you need a good solid service pistol, but dont forget a stout revolver and something for concealment. From what I own:

1) Glock 26 for concealed carry
2) Sig P220 for serious work along with the .22 conversion for practice
3) Ruger GP100 .357/.38 with 4 barrel

For shotguns, home defense is where they excel, but dont discount their versatility as a hunting firearmfrom what I own:

1) Mossberg SPX
2) Mossberg 500 Combo (18 cylinder bore and 28 accu-choke)

Social rifles I have plenty of, but if I had to pair it down to two it would be:

1) My light weight AR with the EOTech
2) My M1A Bush/Scouta lot of uses

Long range and hunting would have to include a good .22LR (both with quality scopes):

1) Savage Precision Carbine in .308more than effect out to 600 yards for me
2) My Marlin 981T, bolt action (tube mag) .22LR

Looks like I'm getting there but I don't think the AR-50 will ever be mine.

I guess I would swap it out with my CZ .22 which isn't really long-range when compared to my 30-06 but is still a pretty darn useful gun, quiet, doesn't turn edible small game into a fine red mist, and is cheap on ammo.

You guys, make me turn green with envy. I only have: Star Model 43 Firestar (9 mm.); .30 cal. M1 carbine (1946), 2 colt revolvers (.38 sp.): one Police Positive (older than myself, belonged to my paternal grandfather), the other is a Cobra model. I recently purchased a .45 Armscor pistol (a compact model 1911 A1, bushingless), but it's still undergoing registration, permit and such (probably a 4-6 months waiting period -you don't want to know the amount of red tape you need to go through if you want to own a legal firearm in Panamá-). Finally the family relic: a .30-40 Krag-Jorgenssen cavalry carbine (1896). No ammo. for this one. Sorry, no pictures.

Not trying to be facetious, but didn't fully understand your post.

And if the former, does that mean close range guns or a joke? If the latter, I thought Mauser made both pistols and rifles, so that statement isn't too definitive from my understanding.
