Biscuits and sausage gravy, 2 bananas, ruby red grapefruit and all is right with the world.

Took two growlers to a get-together last night. Atwater Decadent Dark Chocolate Ale (Detroit) and Black Abbey Belgian Special (Nashville). Good stuff.

A strong cup of Columbian supremo, Bacon, 3 eggs over easy, and a small stack of heavily buttered toast to get my morning going.
Now the Seahawks just need to stomp the 9'ers and it will have been a great day!
Go Hawks!! :D

Nic pairing there, I been thinking about getting a new light I just have a hard time coughing up the cash for it when my LED Lesner works just fine and it was $7.
Had all lights at Scheels 25% off. Got it for $7.50.

Looks like I'll have a BK24 under the tree.
For less than $42!! That's a steal on some steel! :D

I got way too close to way too much work today, and it made my back hurt. Time for a little medicine courtesy of Dr. Williams, and laying on the couch watching football.

There are more people who would rather spend $30 a piece on 10 junk knives than buy one outstanding knife for $300. Thus the popularity of some yayhoo touting the superiority of inferior knives.

That will always be the case. (Don't get me wrong, I own a couple $30 knives and like 'em just fine... but most of them... meh.) It doesn't really bother me... the people who buy 10 or 20 , $30 knives aren't really interested in something from me. So it's not like those reviews or those knives are cutting into my business.

Interestingly, sometimes the people who buy one or two $30 knives and actually use them a lot, do end up coming to makers like me, with a pretty well-informed idea of what they want/need... so that's totally cool. Those cats and kittens are generally easy to work for and they put a fair amount of beans in my cupboard :)

Man much headache this morning. Too many nasty shots of clear bacardi rum last night.

I never minded drinking white rum, but I sure always regretted it the next day. No idea why; you'd think it would be "clean" like vodka and thus give less of a hangover, not more. Just my system is just too used to bourbon and rye :p Of course if you're mixing anything with $2 40s... yeah, there's gonna be problems.

apparently it's mixing high alcohol density with carbonation that kicks yer liver.

made some more progress on the 'future fantasy of a knife shop' today.

Blood sugar highs and lows too.

Im going to drink a few bottles of my inlaws wine tonight

Any of ya'll ever have a coughing fit so bad you get a nosebleed? Take it from me, you don't want that.

Agreed!! I had no issues drinking it last night... I just regretted it when i woke up LOL

I never get hangovers from whiskey....Vodka either really. Seems like i mostly only get headaches from rum, gin, and tequila.... And mixing cheap beer with clear rum apparently.

Hey WW, do you have a development thread on that hex hawk? Looks kind of cool, but I admittedly haven't looked to hard for info.

It's funny how my other hobby seems to be merging with knives. There's a guy that was looking at Ka-bar and I told him to get a BK9 and see what he thought. After having it for less than a week, he's ordering a 2 and 7, as well. Maybe he'll read this, too. :D. It has renewed my interest, as well, and my knives are all sharp again and being used like they should be.

Well, then I officially hate you, but in a good way. That is a heck of a deal.

I absolutely LOVE my $30 BK-11. I miss when they were $30. Now they are $40 and still a helluva deal.

Mind you I don't have any $300 knives, however I do have some that are up there. They aren't similar though, the BK-11 is my go to EDC neck knife, and the $300 ones are much longer and bigger and yeah. It wouldn't make a difference to me I like them all.

Hey guys, I just wanted to get this off my chest... so a certain someone asked for a sheath to make a review, so I made him one and that was it, I didn't tell him what to say or anything, heck I didn't even make him the total package sheath. anyways I just wanted to let everyone know that there is no collaboration or anything in the works with him. If it didn't come from my mouth then it's not true... I didn't even know who this person was until after watching the video he made. I didn't know he was using my name in any other videos, until I watched some of his other videos. anyways just wanted to clear the air. tanks!

Haha.
It was actually a good review JD!
